Morning Light No. 2, Jackson Township Wisconsin
I arrived at the pine grove about a half hour after sunrise, just as the sun was high enough to cast its warm morning glow onto the tree trunks. I was amazed that the foliage was so green given the blistering heat of the summer, but there had been a significant amount of rain recently. This was another one of those “being in the right place at the right time” moments that comes with planning. You can use apps such as Photographer’s Ephemeris and Clear Outside, but there is no guarantee that you’ll come away with an image worthy of taking all the way to a print.
