Weisman No. 204
One of my long term (and close to home) projects is the Weisman Art Museum on the east bank of the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, just a brisk twenty minute walk from my home. The Minnesota “Golden Gophers” colors are maroon and gold, seen above on the side of the Washington Avenue bridge and reflected in the west facade of the Weisman. One of the mesmerizing features of the Weisman is how it reflects its surroundings and it does that in spetacular fashion here in these two images taken almost five years apart, one in the middle of the summer and the other in the middle of winter.
