The work on my Weisman Art Museum book continues. I had thought that being locked down during the COVID-19 pandemic I would have had the time to get all the images required to do justice to this magnificent structure, but life intervended in the form of a knee replacement operation that slowed me down for about seven months. That is behind me now and I am back on the job. I have many ideas for images that I still need for the book. In addition to the many outside shots I need, I was hoping to get some interior images, but I just found out that the museum will be closed until this fall for interior renovations. Hard to believe that the WAM is almost thirty years old. The good news is that the work is all on the interior so I won’t have to deal with ugly scaffolding on the outside. Maybe a few less people wandering around, too.
During my downtime I have been working on page layouts for the book. It’s going to be interesting since I have tried and discarded several sequencing ideas. Hopefully, the page layouts will give me some new ideas for sequencing.
