We arrived at the cabin last night, and while I was not planning on getting up before the sun, I was awake so I got in the jeep to head over to the west side of the lake to see if I could capture the sunrise. I was rewarded with a beautiful sunrise over the lake. It was so quiet, the only sounds were the loons calling and the soft purr of my Olympus EM-5. Not even a single fisherman was out on the lake yet. This image is literally “hot off the sensor” and barely 30 minutes old.
