Another lake picture, but this time from late February when the lake was still frozen over. I love these long blue shadows stretching over the ice. While it was actually an unseasonably warm day for late February, the blue shadows still make for an overall cool, even cold feeling. They also echo the deep blue sky overhead. I think it’s amazing that the lake always is a reflection of the sky, no matter what the season of the year.
